About Festival of Trees
Festival of Trees is Minot’s landmark holiday event with fun and festive activities for everyone in the family. Held the weekend before Thanksgiving, this two-day extravaganza is a perfect way to kick off the Christmas season. Enjoy a stroll through the beautifully decorated trees, listen to live entertainment, purchase Christmas gifts, get a free family photo for your Christmas card, and enjoy other activities, all at FREE door admission.
We conclude with a ticketed event featuring Dinner and a Live Auction.
The purpose of the Festival of Trees is to tell more people about the mission and raise money for Dakota Hope Clinic in Minot.
About Dakota Hope Clinic
Dakota Hope Clinic is a faith-based, life-affirming, non-political, non-denominational Christian 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, governed by a local volunteer board of directors and affiliated with Heartbeat International. With branches opening soon in Tioga and Bottineau, Dakota Hope is the only center in north-central/western ND that is part of the worldwide pregnancy help movement, formed to help women and men escape the temptation and pressure to abort their babies.
Because all the services at Dakota Hope are free and they do not accept government funding, the organization depends on God’s grace and donations from individuals, business, churches, and grants to keep the doors open. Since 2013, your support has allowed the staff at Dakota Hope to come alongside a woman or man more than 1700 women and men in crisis, offering mercy instead of judgment, evidence-based information, medical testing, support, and hope, regardless of their background or beliefs. Specially trained RNs provide 100% free and confidential services, under the direction of local licensed physicians. Vital services include pregnancy testing, limited OB ultrasound, long-term educational and material support, community referral, a post-abortion healing program, and community education.
